SCS
Spinal Cord Stimulation
Placed in the epidural space of the spinal canal, delivering controlled electrical impulses to the dorsal columns of the spinal cord.

Implantable Pulse Generator
An implantable pulse generator (IPG) placed under the skin. It is individually programmed for each patient using an external controller.
Modulation of pain signal transmission and processing, resulting in pain reduction and improved patient functioning.

International Collaboration and Team Training
The introduction of spinal cord stimulation (SCS) in Ukraine has been made possible through active international collaboration, including training at leading centers such as Mayo Clinic, participation in international congresses, and the exchange of expertise with global leaders in neuromodulation.
We extend our sincere gratitude to our international partners, the teams at Mayo Clinic, and leading neuromodulation centers for supporting Ukrainian neurosurgeons in this pioneering work.
